Kobe Bryant didn't even bother to sound like a member of the national roster. Of course, he was ayt for the photo op and sports write-up but his remarks emphasized on "they" instead of "we"! Even if he just got back from a knee surgery, I don't think it's any reason to feel disconnected. Kobe said that the team's been playing extremely well after winning and scoring a lead of 23 points against Puerto Rico. Yet, how come he never approached the team while he stayed with the big bosses, like team director Jerry Colangelo and agent Rob Pelinka? You'll really feel the rift even from the fifth row!
