I have been a soccer fan since I was a teenager. There have been a lot of soccer players whom I have adored, but seldom that a coach would impress me. That was until I saw
José Mourinho steering the wheel for Chelsea a few years ago. I saw in him the drive, angst, confidence, and teeth to manuever a huge team in one of the world's most loved sport. Over his time as a head coach, Mourinho had been both adored and abhorred for his style. He was fined and suspended on several occassions. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the way he does his stuff. He is just one man who is trying to do his job the best way he knows how.
He was born as José Mário dos Santos Mourinho Félix on January 26, 1963. His father is the Portuguese goalkeeper Félix Mourinho, who became his mentor in enhancing
his managing skills and organisational ability. This is coupled with a degree in in Physical Education, specialising in sports methodology and an experience as a high school coach. Before handling Chelsea FC in West London in 2004, Mourinho also coached FC Barcelona B, Sport Lisboa e Benfica, União de Leiria, and Futebol Clube do Porto (FCP).
