Justin Gatlin? If not, well he just happens to be the Olympic Champion for the Track and Field Men's Division. Not only that, he has just recently broken the
world record for the 100-meter run last Friday at Qatar Grand Prix. He finished the 100-meter track in just 9.76 seconds. Needless to say, he has beaten his all-time rival, Asafa Powell of Jamaica. Powell had a record of 9.77 seconds in 2005 for the 100-meter track, which was then held in Greece .
Justin Gatlin told reporters a few months back that it was his goal to break the world record. Now that he has done so, he is just as surprised as everybody else. Gatlin, however, adds that his good fortune did not come from luck alone. He is where he is because of the
dedication and determination that he has given to his field. Furthermore, the athlete says that spectators can expect more brilliant performances from him in future events. The said athlete promises sports fanatic that he will do more to improve on his performance so that his record can improve a great deal more.
