Wake surfing has been gaining popularity because of the many people who are enjoying this sport.
To wake surf, you need a surfboard or any custom-designed board that can be used for riding the waves. You need to be hauled by an inboard boat (you shouldn't be able to see the propellers of the boat towing you) that would run at a speed of 9 to 14 mph to pull yourself out of the water. When riding, you need to balance yourself once you've been pulled out of the water.
It would be better if the board you're using is the small one since you can try standing on it when you're already in the water. With the conventional surfboard (the long ones), you can't really stand; you can only lie flat on your stomach if you want to ride the waves.
This sport would look pretty easy but it isn't since you have to learn how to move when you're on the board, like moving forward to go faster or move backwards to go slower.
The first try is not always going to be easy. Your first attempt is like
